Lovely antique bags

I made these bags a while ago, very slow to blog things! I'm trying to improve nad blog more often. Today Lulu is back to school so I'm up early for my 'internet quiet time'! 

I made these bags with antique hemp /linen and then appliqued all different fabrics and trims. The embroidered fabrics are vintage.

This is my stash from the market last weekend. Such a great morning with my friend. I love, love, love my stash and couldn't wait to use a little of it so made a lovely little pouch
