A portrait of Lulu
The other day Lulu's friend's Mum, Cathy, brought over the most beautiful gift - a portrait of Lulu!!!! I just love it! Thank you Cathy, you are so talented! I love her technique, she used pencils, watercolours and a little acrylic. I love the way she painted flowers here and there and then went over them with Lulu's hair. The portrait looks exactly like the photo she worked from. I can't wait to frame it and hang it on the wall!
I thought I should mention a little about Cathy, the artist. She is truely talented and does portraits with a difference! She works in an office but I'm encouraging her to follow her passion! She has a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna (lucky her!).
What a wonderful gift, and a treasure! Does she also do this as a hobby or as a business?
ReplyDeleteShe is an artist who at the moment does it as a hobby I'm encouraging her to do it as work!! All she needs is a photo and voila!

DeleteNo she doesn't but I'll see her tomorrow and have a word with her. As I mentioned I'm trying to encourage her to open at first a Facebook page where people can see her work and contact her and then she can take it from there.
