Great Finds at tha Sydney Craft Fair Today

The two pictures are of a quilt that my quilting teacher, Grace, made. I love how she made the owls. She sewed them completely free-hand on the sewing machine with a free-motion foot. I have never tried to do this before but went out and bought this type of foot today so am hoping to start doing some. It will also be handy to machine quilt my quilts. I think that I will get a lot of use out of it.

Today I went to a craft fair and found some new goodies. I brought quite a few fabrics and they were mostly in spring pastel colours. I also found some great ric-rac that was hand dyed. i couldn't help myself and bought quite a lot. I also bought some hand dyed threads. This will hopefully all come in handy, later in the year when I take part in a Sue Spargo class at Material Obsession.

  3. Your fabric is sooooo cute! Could you give me the name of the last fabric photo? The blue one with the flowers? It is so lovely I think I would like to purchase it myself! Thank you. Greetings from Germany

  4. Hi Claudia, I just love that one too. It's much nicer than the picture shows. I checked the selvedge and there is noting written on it. I do know that it is a Japanese Yuwa Linen fabric. You may be able to find some if you did a search online.
