Wow I didn't realise I hadn't posted anything for such a long time.
Happy New Year to all! Even thought it's a little late!
My first exciting news is Homespun magazine has set up a new website called 'Cosy Project' (site here). You can buy individual patterns from past issues of the magazine without having to hunt down old issues. Just fabulous!
Many of the projects we've done for Homespun in the past are available on the website too!

Artigiani in Piazza
I was honoured to participate in a new event this August 'Artigiani in Piazza'. It was a wonderful evening where friends and family came to visit!
I made a lot of flowers for colour, so much fun!
And many new products! Some here on my work table, such a mess!

Work in progress
This is what a work in progress looks like. When I decide to make a pouch, pillow and so on I never make just one! I just can't because all kinds of fabric combinations pop into my head and I have to make them all!
I usually start from one fabric I love and must include, then through trial and error find others that will co-ordinate. As I go through this process more combinations reveal themselves so I must make them immediately so I don't forget! In this case I will sit there until all are finished, maybe 6 or 7 at a time. I usually can't wait to see the end result and see which is my favourite!
I'll show how these turned out in a future post!

Fabric wall art finally finished!
My fabric wall art piece is finally finished. I started this piece before I went away to Spain and wasn't quite sure what it was going to be - a bag, journal cover, pillow, wall art! The break gave me some clarity and instantly when I looked at it I knew what to do! It has to be hung on the wall! It is available in my shop
To create this lovely piece I hand stitched a nine patch with beautiful antique French fabrics. I then hand quilted them here and there with embroidery floss. At this point I thought 'now what???'. Then it came to me I wanted to do a vase of flowers!

Markets and market bags!
I say holidays are over but in reality I've been working like a crazy person! I participated in a wonderful 3 days festival in San Leo. It was great fun! San Leo is a truely beautiful town.
I sold all manner of products; market bags, photo albums, altered journals to mention a few.
There were all kinds of shows and fireworks on the castle!
I had a stall there which was so much fun and such an honour!
The beautiful view down the street.
I made lots of new bags!

Love making pouches!
Here are some sweet pouches I made recently. Some are still available in my shop here. They are made with antique and vintage fabrics and embroideries. I completed them with handstamped fabrics, trims and handmade buttons.

Holiday in Spain
I have been quiet lately on the blog we have been away in Spain. We went to the Costa Brava, I had no idea it was so beautiful. I highly recommend a trip there!
Beautiful scenery!
Gorgeous medieval towns with lovely shops!
One of my favourites Cadaques!
Inspiration everywhere!
Waking up early in the morning at my aunts house, drinking coffee (a favourite) and stitching!
