I made this lovely activity pouch with pretty nird applique and embroidery. I can carry all kinds of stationery or could even be used as a sewing pouch! It's filled with several pockets in all different sizes.

These cushions are for a friend she love scotty dogs! Can you tell? She wanted them everywhere so I tried to come up with 5 different designs. The larger cushions are 65x65cm, the 2 smaller ones 40x40cm. I used linens old and new and many fabrics from the lovely 'Etchings' range. Some need an iron!

Today I went to the Sydney Craft and Quilt fair. It was really good as always with lots of things to buy. I came home with a bit of new fabric and a couple of patterns. I didn't go as crazy as I normally do but it was good to get some fabric from some of my favourite sellers.
The quilt show was also quite good. I took a few photos with my phone of some of my favourite quilts. Unfortunately not all the photos are in very good focus as I had to take them quickly before people walked in front. The photo below was probably the one that I liked the best. There are more photos of other quilts on Flickr.
Hatched and Patched. There is something in here that I want to make for Rach as I think that she will love it. Can you pick which one, Rach??

I have collected so many gorgeous antique trims and really felt the need to organise them. I bought simple French looking trim card from Boqinana I found they sell them for the best price. Then I made fabric baskets to fit the cards and the drawer where I keep them. It's so much easier now to find what I need! I'd love to make basket for so many other drawers in the house, maybe oneday I'll find the time!

Some new hand embroidered Ipad sleeves. These pouches are perfect to store I pads or any other gadgets with similar dimensions, but really they could be used to store anything! There is a combination of linen and cotton fabrics with Japanese style embroidery. Now available in my shop.

Lulu had a splurge of creativity yesterday, she decided to do some embroidery! She drew directly onto the linen (very confident!) and then whilst watching tv embroidered. She then came into my sewing room and choose some fabrics to combine with the embroidered piece so I could make it up into a pouch for her. She's very pleased with the result, rightly so!!!
The other day I received some lovely new fabrics from the Fat Quarter Shop. I just love them even though they are out of my regular colour palette. I've started some new Ipad pouches using these new fabrics. I finished the first one and have a couple more on the way!
A new pouch now available in my shop! I started this a few weeks ago but then didn't have time to finish it, so many things like that!! It's a sweet pouch which can be used for anything. I combined two of my favourite subjects - mushrooms and hedgehogs!
