Sweet patchwork
Yesterday I prepared the bases for some new goodies for my shop. I started with acouple of favourite fabrics and my colour palette went from there. I have so many small pieces and so decided to make some things with them. I cut out squares in different sizes and my project have come into being from there! From one ideas arrives another so hopefully I'll find the time to make them before I forget and move onto the next thing!!!!

Vintage pouch
I've had this hand embroidered blue vintage tablecloth for a while. I bought it at the antique market here in Italy. I purchased it with the intention of maling things with it. I've finally understood how to insert zips so today I made this sweet little pouch!
Love France!
These cushions are for a special order which I have been procrastinating about for sometime now! I finally finished them. I used beautiful antique hemp linen for the base and then appliqued lovely linen and cotton fabrics with some antique trim. I finished them off with so French inspired embroidery. Hopefully my customer likes them!

Heart sewing pouch
I finally finished this lovely pouch yesterday, I started it more than a month ago. I used antique hemp linen and trims combined with some new fabrics. I embroidered lovely hearts on it and appliqued an old monogram inside as well. This pouch is great to carry around ones sewing need as it has ample space for pins and needs and a large pocket which can carry a small hoop, scissors, embroidery floss and so on. Go in my shop.
Sweet cherry pouches
I made these pouches today one for a lovely customer and the other for my shop. I used lovely linen and cotton fabrics, the center piece is antique linen. My customer loves cherries so I applied some cherries in the center with felt and pinished off the pouches with trims.

I'm slowly getting back into creating new things after being too busy!! Ever since I started sewing a few years ago I've seen these sweet storage containers in many Japanese craft books.I've been wanting to make my own version for some time now and have finally gotten around to it! These are quite small and are made mainly with to types of antique linen combined with a little patchwork at one end. They are so very useful, great to store hair accessories, jewellery, stationary, sewing needs or even can be used to serve biscuits etc.
